I went to Publix and they were selling Mystery Carts. $150 and you get a cart full of groceries, but you don't get to see what's in it.

They told me some of the items go back to 1994. Unfortunately, the item from 1994 I got was a carton of milk. I was really hoping for some Ecto Cooler.

:-(

true story: the last apartment we lived in from 2008-2012 was in the first floor of a 2-story sectioned-off house. The stairway was blocked with a locked door, but our kitchen pantry was the closet that was underneath the staircase. There was a small cubbyhole closet in the back of that pantry/closet as the staircase neared the ground. I honestly didn't even know it was there until a year after moving in. I opened it hesitantly to see what was in there. Mostly cobwebs, but also a large box of individually packed ramen noodle packs. The ramen expired in 1994.

I also found an unopened condom stuck to the top wooden shelf in our bedroom closet that expired in 1992. We're talking vintage Seattle grunge ramen and condoms here.

Think of how much money you could have made from these if you had pretended they belonged to Eddie Vedder.
