Bills defense is pretty salty, and I'm sure Orton still holds some hard feelings on how he was treated in Denver. I'm a bit worried about this game, though maybe not as much as the Rams and Dolphins games.
The D is the only thing that could put the Bills in a position to win. The Bills are a much better team than the Dolphins, in my opinion
Tough to argue with that when you look at today's games. Good game, the Bills beat the Broncos up pretty good. They're one or two players away from being a real force.
one of those players being a franchise quarterback, unfortunately

The narrative around here seems to be 'What is wrong with Peyton?'. I'm not going to lie, his passes have lacked some pace... and some accuracy. I'm of the the opinion that the passing offense is being a bit coy though.

They listed JT as probable, dressed him and promptly kept playing the Virgil Green/Paul Cornick combo on the O-line. This line combo is clicking, the defense is playing great. Had Whale's Vagina taken care of business this's week, I'm positive we would have seen a cold blooded Manning against them Sunday. But I expect a good mix.

I think it's a little of both. The guy is 38 years old, of course he can't throw like he used to. But the more ways you have to defeat a team, the better chance you have of defeating them. Though, I am getting this sinking feeling that this will be PFM's last year, though.

Looking at Rodgers's stats in the first half it's looking a lot more like the Bills' defense being awesome.

Man, that game was stressful, but they got it done. GYFS San Diego gets swept, and a fourth straight AFC West crown is clinched. Now the Bills are our last hope at getting that #1 seed.

The Chargers have Southern California all to themselves, and they let this happen regularly. You'd never see that at Arrowhead.

I don't imagine many people move to Kansas City for the weather and it's not like the Chargers have a long history of success.

I don't agree with that at all.
--KC's all time record is 431-414-12 while SD's is 427-424-11. Almost identical both there and in championships (KC has 1 SB but it's all the way back in 1970. SD has 0 but does have an AFL championship). And in the past 10-15 years, there's little doubt that SD has usually been better and more exciting to watch than KC.
--The SD metro area is 3.2M while KC is 2M. But again, the Chargers are the closest to the vacant markets of both the LA and Riverside metro areas. Add those up and there's a total of 20M in SoCal--ten times what's in KC.
--KC is pretty underrated as far as "richness" goes, but I'm still going to assume that it doesn't hold a candle to SoCal. Maybe Joey or someone else can correct me.

The bottom line is that the Chargers have no one to blame but themselves when fans of teams like the Broncos, Patriots, Steelers, and even the Raiders take over their stadium. It sucks, because pretty much all the Chargers fans I've come across are cool as shit. But there should be way more of them.

We've talked a lot of football and other stuff over the years, and I feel like we've had some good debates over that span. :) What caused you to strongly disagree?

i wish people would understand why the steelers "travel" well....

its not that they travel at all

after the steel mills shit the bed in the late 70s early 80s a shit ton of people moved. most south and west. hence why you see so many fans for the steelers there

Because no one is FROM san diego. You see similar things happen in Phoenix and Florida (lesser extant) in other sports. And the proximity to LA is pretty much meaningless. Even if those people are rooting for San Diego, they aren't invested enough to drive 2+ hours. If the Lions weren't here, I might root for the Bengals, (not the browns. no. not ever) but I am not driving to go see them with any regularity.
