That china cymbal Dave A hits on the first off-beat of the intro bars is vicious. Same thing he does on the Whipping album version (different off-beat but same technique).

It's really good to see Jeff enjoying himself so much there.

I'll stop commenting on that video in a minutes, but: who was telling me they weren't a musician's band? It's proof right there that they used to be.

True. And the energy. I am still bummed that I never saw the Dave A era PJ.

I really *love* that long pause in Jeremy before the second verse. I think they miss out the first chorus or something, or just hang on that note for longer. Very clever.

That riff from the mansfield improve popped up in quite a few improvs, i wonder if theres an actual song built around it sitting in the vault somewhere.


This isn't one of them. But dammit this could have made an awesome song.
