Okay, probably not in the running for the best. But definitely the most bonkers.

Anyone get the vibes that Milchick is a closeted gay man? There’s at the very least a repressed theater kid energy in that performance. Also, when did he have the time to learn that routine? Did Cobel have a routine practiced as she was the expectant floor manager during Mark’s tenure?

That could be. He does have that private closet he's gone to a few times this season.

Dunno if I should spoiler as I am literally never watching things in real release time, but
Spoiler: show
So innie Mark and Helly R realize they will need to stay on the floor/not leave work, so as not to allow their outies control of their fate? If not yet, assuming they will have to.

Lumon has no other use for them inside presumably, right?

Well
Spoiler: show
It’s complicated because it’s good for Lumon if Mark stays inside, because he can’t corroborate Devon/Gemma’s story. So I don’t think they’re gonna stop him from leaving. Helly is a different story because at this point Jame probably WANTS her to stay inside, he seems really disappointed in her. I think those are the pressure points the next season is gonna put stress on.

Yeah...Was thinking they'll probably have to fabricate something to make the innies want to stay. But also, other than the few exceptions they've ALWAYS left the office every day. So I suppose Lumon would have to manufacture some kind of living quarters on the severed floor and monitor it around the clock? Anything that happens next in their severed floor dynamic will have to happen quickly.

Okay, the episode was visually and sonically and emotionally sublime. I fucking loved it. And now the show has officially graduated from LOST to Twin Peaks for me.

I don't give a fuck about answers. I didn't actually care what is going on. Just give me more of whatever that was!

Holy shit

I feel you. I still have questions of course, but also trust.

Interested in your thoughts on innie Mark's decision.

There was a section of the finale that screamed Twin Peaks for me but it’s escaping me at the moment. I’ll scrub through later and report back.

I think that was the only decision for Mark S. Had he done something else it wouldn't have made sense and felt like writers forcing an outcome rather than letting the character be the character.

It was awesome and tense and perfect and so well shot and scored. I hope I never forget the exact feeling I had watching it for the first time.
