Now is time for portly, enlightened centrist Dev.
I feel like I could do any shtick imaginable.
I picture this and all dev posts made in a dark room by a slouched hoodie garbed loner. Maybe there's a monster energy can nearby too.
I don't like energy drinks at all. Disgusting.

Hard-hitting insight dev. How are you fighting exactly?
I don't like your tone. are you following my work on this board? the point is I stand up for progressive ideals I believe in, while remaining rational, and discard leftist arguments that I find problematic or overzealous.
Too bad body shaming isn't something you find problematic.
It is. I hated that recent Jordan Peterson post.
And yet

Such a drama queen. I'm not warring against anyone, or anything.

I guess I shouldn't have said that. It wasn't the most egregious example of body shaming though either but yeah, I had reservations when I made the post. But also the post was worded a certain way for effect. Like the right wingers always characterize the "blue haired lesbian" a certain way and I was trying to reach them with that post/be artful. It's complicated. I'm trying to open dialogue with these guys. I don't see you reforming anyone!

Whatever. I am characterizing your whole group which is so worried about the woke. It's bullshit.
But then I get it. I just got called out by Durden. You think that doesn't make my blood boil. It sucks getting politically corrected. Especially when it feels so unfair. He doesn't know how awful my coworker is. Yet here he is critizing me for referring to her in disparging terms? I get it, boys. I feel your frustration. But he's right. I shouldn't have gone there. So I will accept his criticism.

Every period of game-changing creative adventurousness elicits some derision from a certain type of traditionalist detractor. These are always eventually proven to be wrong with the benefit of hindsight

I'd argue that tree_ ok increasingly does the thing better than him, but he's up there.

He didn't say she was repulsive BECAUSE she was fat. Maybe she just has a bad attitude?

I didn't read anything bad into that. It's clearly just a list of two independent traits that have nothing to do with each other.
