Although I adore basically every song on PG, old or new. Houses, Seaside, Wanton Song...I love them all to bits.

Listening to Led Zep IV right now. Loud.
Jesus christ, this dudes were the best. Jones and Bonham are on fire on this one really...that 1-2 punch of Black Dog and Rock and Roll is awesome.

the new doc on netflix is awesome. lots of live performances. they only cover the first two albums, but hearing how the band came together is cool.
i heard 'babe i'm gonna leave you' earlier today. plant is a maniac. his leaps from soft to screaming are amazing.
almost everything about the four of them comes together perfectly. they are pretty much the best band ever.

Since they are both in the moment of discussion, having recently returned to both Physical Graffiti and IV in the essential albums thread, they are both among my all time favorite albums - but I pushed PG ahead. It’s just absolutely mind blowingly great from top to bottom (granted as is IV). They were the first classic rock band I ever did a deep dive into their catalogue - 32 years ago! - and for good reason.

Led Zeppelin is releasing a new live EP in celebration of the 50th anniversary of their album Physical Graffiti. The EP will feature four rare live recordings from the 1970s, including "In My Time Of Dying" and "Trampled Under Foot", according to The Music Universe and UNCUT.
