I still can't believe they'd release the catalog to streaming services without Mono mixes for the early/mid albums

I forgot that was a different Beatles thread where people talked about not liking the Beatles. I tried to convince stip otherwise with examples of songs I thought he might like. I remember him not taking kindly to my assistance.

Not liking The Beatles is fine - it's your prerogative - but people who don't respect The Beatles have absolutely no business playing rock music.

It baffles me, to see the lists of which songs are most popular on streaming.

Seriously? Most are their most popular, no? It isn't like Beatles fanboys are using a streaming service to listen to the rarities or something.

Spotify's list:
1. "Come Together"
2. "Hey Jude"
3. "Here Comes The Sun"
4. "Let It Be"
5. "Twist And Shout"
6. "Blackbird"
7. "I Want To Hold Your Hand"
8. "In My Life"
9. "She Loves You"
10. "Help!"

The list makes perfect sense to me, except for "Come Together" being #1, let alone on the list at all. WTF is that about? Was it featured in a Selena Gomez movie or something?

FWIW I hear Come Together on classic rock radio all the fucking time. So much so that I can't stand it anymore.

This and that Something isn't top 10 is what I question. Go home, McParadigm.

I bet what's happening is that "Come Together" is enjoying heightened public awareness ever since the Soundgarden version was issued anew on the B-sides album from last year.

Yes, of course, the "Soundgarden effect."

Arctic Monkeys did cover Come Together at the London Olympics Ceremony. That may count for something.
