Haha, you know me better than to have an intellectual thought about anything let alone a movie, mary. Remember, I loved the movie Pacific Rim.

scratch that. just did some sleuthing and the rumor was debunked.BurtReynolds wrote:oh of course there is.red calzolaio wrote:so there's talk of an X-men/Fantastic 4 movie.
the fact that there was a rumor means it's going to happen though.

Re: X-men : Movies (and all other Mutant related things)
they talk about it on and off, but I think it will only be at most a cameo by a Mutant or two in a FF movie, or, the FF mentioned in a X-movie.red calzolaio wrote:scratch that. just did some sleuthing and the rumor was debunked.BurtReynolds wrote:oh of course there is.red calzolaio wrote:so there's talk of an X-men/Fantastic 4 movie.

X-men are already lined up with DoFP this year, Apocalypse and X-Force in 2016, and a Wolverine ummm sequel to The Wolverine that will take place before DoFP? at some point? if a script gets Hugh pumped up enough to get pumped up?
(DoFP is taking place 10 years AFTER The Wolverine, so there is time to fill in the gaps? i guess? maybe Fox just wants to get the time line as confusing as the Comics are - See the Cyclops family tree)
so, all that said, it would be hard to tie in the FF franchise which is due for a reboot in... 2015? I believe?

All I know is I want to see a movie where my conscious mind can't even comprehend how many super heroes are in it.

Re: X-men : Movies (and all other Mutant related things)

First look at Quicksilver... It will be interesting how they tie him in with Magneto? the age difference? (seems too close) when did Mags have time to go off and knock someone up while hunting down Shaw??? will they just ignore that its Magnetos kid? (which honestly is a waste of a character, and will piss me off a lil bit)
the ironic part will come, when the fan boys bitch about how Singer RUINS Quicksilver and Marvel needs to buy the X-men back from Fox... but then theyll totally give Whedon a pass who plans on using Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch in Avengers 2... but, he cant refer to them as Mutants, Magnetos kids, and, may even have to use their "human' names and not the mutant code names? (Pietro and Wanda)
