haven't posted in this thread, but am a big comics fan...dc over marvel, although hawkeye right now is killing it. love batman, in particular brubaker and rucka's gotham central and morrison's run from 2006-2013, and am into anything brubaker and phillips.

have been obsessed with hbo's true detective over the last two months and thought folks in this thread might appreciate this:

makes me think of how amazing a proper 10-12 hour miniseries adaptation of from hell could have been

there's not many monthlies i'm following right now. the peak of my monthly interest in the last few years was the batman r.i.p=>final crisis >return of bruce wayne=>batman and robin part of morrison's run. i'm buying fatale and morning glories right now at image (although i'm getting bored of morning glories), and hawkeye at marvel.

i'm following what's happening in forever evil but dropped batman zero year. my favorite snyder batman story was actually his first, the dick grayson arc on detective before the new 52. that was great.

Well HTI I burned through all the Injustice books today and I'm all caught up. It's a good story. You can definitely sympathize with both sides. At least I could till
Spoiler: show
Superman killed Ollie
now that bastard needs to go! I didn't realize how much I loved that character until I say him die. My only issue was no way could
Spoiler: show
Sinestro take out Kyle that easily. As far as I'm concerned that guy is The Green Lantern not Hal.
That felt cheap to me but everything else is pretty good.

The Preacher is coming to AMC. Is this worth reading before the show airs.

I used to read Ultimate Spider-man pretty religiously. Then I took a break from comics and didn't come back to it. I did read the crossover Spider-Men with the 616 Universe and it was pretty emotional.

Does anyone have any non-superhero graphic novel recommendations? I enjoy Walking Dead. I did not enjoy Y The Last Man.

AWESOME! So do you think you'll continue to follow it? Totally agree about both of those points, but there are already too many GLs involved. Things seem to just be heating up more. I hope Guy dies soon. The Guardians are going down too. hehehe

Thanks for the recommendations! I was also considering Locke and Key. Is that one any good?
