Since they've had it buried in the playbook for 10 weeks, the general rule is that you wouldn't go to it twice in two weeks.

yeah, it's a legal substitution/formation, but you knew what you were doing, tom/bill/fucking josh mcdaniels. don't act all righteous about it when the opposing team calls you on your bullshit loopholes.
I think you're incredibly dishonest, Spike. You don't want to really want to like the Patriots. You hate the Patriots because they win all the time. I had the same feelings about Dallas during the 90s as a kid. I see where you are coming from. It sucks, I know. But on this item, you are 100 percent wrong on all accounts.
Belichick simply out coached the Ravens here. The Ravens should have had a coach overhead identifying the fact that the Pats were only using four offensive lineman. The inactive player is clearly making it known to the ref that he was inactive. As several commentators pointed out, having a Ravens coach being on the lookout from above (especially after it happens three times in the same game!) is where the Ravens failed.
I find Harbaugh's bitching and false accusations more insulting than any perceived smugness from Brady. The Pats are out to win football games, not a "please like me contest," and I'm pretty sure Brady was smug because he was surprised that Harbaugh took a totally unfair personal shot at Belichick.

Please, I picked Baltimore to win the game.

This really is one of the more underrated rivalries in the NFL.
Adam Schefter wrote:Tampering charges against Jets have been filed for comments team owner Woody Johnson made last month about Patriots CB Darrelle Revis, and NFL is looking into the matter, per an NFL official. The league is trying to determine whether there was a violation and if there was, how severe of a fine should be levied against Johnson and the Jets. At a press conference to discuss the firing of Rex Ryan and John Idzik, Johnson openly praised Revis and added, “I’d love for Darrelle to come back.” The NFL’s tampering policy says, “Any public or private statement of interest, qualified or unqualified, in another club’s player to that player’s agent or representative, or to a member of the news media, is a violation of the Anti-Tampering Policy.” Revis’ contract has an option for 2015 valued at $20 million, which the Patriots are likely to decline, which would make him an unrestricted free agent, when the Jets would be allowed to speak to and of him, legally.

Go Pats. Brady finally getting his 4th to solidify his greatness would be closure for this Pats dynasty. And fuck Seattle.

I feel like Kraft is going to have a Joe Namath incident one of these days while being interviewed after a game. Each time he does one, he's more shithouse than the last time.

The Pats and their fans have been at this shit for a decade vs. three years for the Seahawks. Definitely rooting for Seattle.

To be fair, his wife of many years died a few years ago. I'm pretty sure that new girlfriend is 14 years old, though.
