While I am a Bucs fan, I am a big fan of Cam Newton even though he is on a division rival. Glad to see him get a nice contract.

Has any team ever been hit with more significant surprise retirements than the 2015 49ers?

His statement is 100% real talk. I can only imagine how routinely painful and miserable playing a position like that in the NFL (let alone any position) is.

I wish I could laugh at that, but unfortunately I can't  :gomez: So it's up to you to carry that torch, Pats fans.

Russell Wilson says God spoke to him right after the interception. From CBS Sports:

Wilson said (via NESN.com). "And on the third step God says to me, 'I'm using you ... I want to see how you respond. But most importantly, I want them to see how you respond.'"

Ken Stabler was only 69? Wow he looked older than that years ago. One of the great characters of the NFL in his day. RIP.

Seriously. If Brady's suspension isn't reduced it is going to take away what little credibility the league and commissioner have left. Moreso because of the huge reduction in Hardy's suspension, not because of Tom Brady. But by having equal suspensions you are basically trivializing what Hardy did, right?
