so, i started my bottle today...so far a 1-2 ounce combination of each:
high west double rye
bird dog bourbon
woodinville rye
wayward rye

i'm doing it in the empty Wayward bottle as i thought it was appropriate..

today I found an airline sized bottle of bulleit bourbon in my backpack so I added that to the mix and an ounce of 4 roses

yeah. every time i go downstairs and see all of the beer that i bought over the years but haven't drank i think of how i let you down.

honestly, kbs, bourbon county, bells black note -- all that stuff is seems overrated with all of the other offerings out there. hell, bourbon county is a shelf turd here.

buuuutttt, i still have your address . . . and i still have a lot of good beer.

I've been drinking a lot of Four Roses lately, mostly because it's decent and inexpensive. I've grown to appreciate it. But I miss some of the better quality bourbons. Might have to splurge (relatively) on something else in the next few weeks. A little Eagle Rare or something. Nothing too crazy.
