Are Days 19-27 on a neutral site? I noticed you used vs. Rather than @.

Days 19-27 are split home and home, so that everyone ends up playing everyone else three times at home and three times on the road.

Sorry, I should've explained that in the post. I keep forgetting a lot of you haven't done this before. I know it's a weird way of doing schedule, but it's a remnant from us making season extending decisions on the fly in the earlier ones. I suppose we could replace that weird final third of the season with two more full sets of home and road trips, but I'm afraid a 36 day/72 game regular season might be too long for a lot of people.

ugh, RM makes those photos hard to read.

do i have to decide if i want vs righty/vs lefty lineups before the season, or can i decide mid season?

You can absolutely decide midseason. You can change your lineups any time you want, as long as you don't change your 25 man roster.

So each lineup will be used for 2 games, not just 1?

You can absolutely decide midseason. You can change your lineups any time you want, as long as you don't change your 25 man roster.
but can i make two teams, one vs righty/one vs lefty at any time during the season? or do you mean i'll just have to do it manually before a game?

Yeah you can still do that as long as the rosters are identical.

So, some more clarification for new participants...

You have until the sims are run to change your lineup. Whenever the owner of a team runs a sim, the last lineup he set becomes the default lineup on whatif. When we go to run the sims, whichever lineup is the default one is the one we will use. If you plan on platooning, you're going to want to load in multiple teams, and we'll use whichever one corresponds to the pitcher you're facing. If on a rare occasion you want to use a different lineup for each game of the series (for a non-RHP/LHP purpose), let us know in advance and we'll change it by hand when we run it. If you plan on doing this frequently, though, you're gonna want to just have a game one/game two lineup loaded into whatif. You will know what pitchers you are facing in advance, as people's rotations will be posted in the OP, and any requests to change the rotation/use someone on short rest have to be posted in the thread.

Once we hit midnight (eastern time) on game day, the sims can be run at any point from then on. You can still edit your lineup beyond that point, but you'll be doing so at the risk of the sims having already been run (as a heads up, I almost always post when the sims are finished, even if I wait a few hours to post the results). Because of my super nocturnal schedule, I tend to run the sims in the window between midnight and six or seven AM. I think chud will be running a lot of the AL sims, so I can't speak for when he's going to tend to do his simming.

I hope this clears up some of the confusion.
