this is pretty damn close for me except I've never had the attachment to ziggy stardust or hunky dory that most fans have, not that I dislike them but they would be lower down a list I'd make

Yeah, that's pretty good. I'd drop Low just a tad, and move Diamond Dogs up a few. I love that he played just about everything on Dogs.
Also, Gail is a monster musician. She belts this out and doesn't miss a note on either instrument.

Exactly but Bowie's legacy goes above the quirkiness of part of his career. They apparently scraped the option of going the multi-artist route. The one time when it would actually make sense.
It's a lazy choice more than anything else.
