This will have to grow on me. Not sure about it on my first listen but it might be good.

Same
It's either a group of hipsters who have climbed up their own asses and gotten totally lost

Or it brilliant.

Either way its gonna take a long time and many listens to determine which

It's most likely both.

I liked Reflektor, although it seemed a bit overlong and self-indulgent. Good song though.

Self indulgent is appropriate but I've only had two listens.
This might well be genius. Or complete twaddle

Seriously.

I've given the first 3 records a few listens each. Just can't get into more than a few songs on each one.

You should actually try listening to some of their concerts.

This band is undoubtedly OTT and dramatic, no doubt about that. Roll with it.

This album is really, really good. As I said before, it feels like Graceland in all its African pop influences. I love that sound, so that's great. I need the middle of the album to sink in, but it starts wonderfully and ends wonderfully. Overall, it seems much more cohesive than The Suburbs, which had a lot of songs I liked but didn't hang together so well as an album for me.

This band does so many things that are really close to my heart. Like Pearl Jam used to.
