As well there were 4 units in my new building and it had not been determined which unit # would be mine until the previous tenants had moved out.

the show 'delocated' is a pretty good documentary on the subject.

When I was a kid, the kid down the street was moving. When I asked him where he said "I can't tell you". He was probably just being a dick, though.

I went down an internet rabbit of missing and exploited children the other night. Began by watching the trailer for the Who Took Johnny doc, then reading about that case. Weird, fascinating stuff. Then I remembered the tv movie I Know My First Name is Stephen, which scared the hell out of me when I was a kid. Then it was on to more of the same. I think it rotted my brain a little bit.
damn dude, that's some dark shit. you should have just watched the episode of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air where the whole family gets put in a trailer park in Alabama bc some mob dude was trying to kill Will

No Code came today. I still really love this record and the packaging is more of what I expected when compared to Yield. Just wish it was 180g.

I didn't understand that episode as a kid. Thought it was trippy.

What's that in your teeth?
I felt bad for the ugly fat chick who wound up with that role, and nobody ever saw her again.

No kidding. I took it off my turntable to replace with the new Jack White LP the other day, and the difference in heft was incredible.

Does vinyl weight actually make that big of a difference? I'm assuming the idea is that you can make deeper grooves? I have no clue. Seems like if it gets too thick it can affect your tone arm counterbalance

The Yield reissue sounds great but the packaging (what little there is) is disappointing. I'm no graphics expert, but it looks like all they did is take the original album cover file, open it in MS Paint and click "resize 400%". It's all pixelated and grainy where the original CD cover was clear and sharp.

Then it's an accurate recreation of the original, sad to say. Other than Ten, Yield is their least interesting vinyl packaging. It's like they decided, "well, we did the cutout thing, that's enough."

Ah, that's too bad. I actually like the pictures and handwritten lyrics inside the CD booklet, so it was disappointing to see them just slapped onto a single-page grid. Was hoping for a gigantic version of the CD booklet, like the Binaural vinyl.
