Bon Jovi is awesome. And you should never be offended by such a comparison. At least... on its face. Now, I will say that 'Have a Nice Day' is a terrible song. And while I appreciate the spirit of the comparison, because it is a clunky phrase, Mind Your Manners is the clearly superior song. No question. With all its flaws, Mind Your Manners still hits all the important notes.
