Mother Lode, a 1982 adventure thriller directed by Charlton Heston. Fucking loved it. Soooo beautiful to look at. I miss natural scenery in movies so much.

Yes, I really enjoyed it. Not quite sure how to pitch it, but it's pretty much what the trailer promises, and a well made movie at that. If you liked The Bling Ring, or Sping Breakers, this is more of that, kind of, its the suburban chapter.

Watched Blue Ruin and The China Syndrome. The former is efficient and has effective, sometimes disturbing violence, but doesn't really amount to much in the end. The latter is one hell of an intense and gripping movie. Jack Lemmon is an amazing actor.

Agree that Spring Breakers is far better than The Bling Ring, but they have a lot of the same influences. Palo Alto falls somewhere in between.
