I read these last year; I still think of them often, but by the end I feel things got a bit convoluted. Still quite a ride, though!

Rum Punch by Elmore Leonard. While not a sequel, per se, to The Switch, it is a continuation of the main characters from that book. Both are fantastic.

Totally. Yeah, this is a brand new, separate thing. It's also fantasy. And it's also violent and grotesque and strange as shit, though.

I've never read another book on Homer, so I don't know if it's new, but the interpretation of the Illiad and Odyssey as a memory of a more ancient clash between the civilized urban cities of Asia minor and barbaric tribes not long removed from the steppes (early Greeks) is interesting.

each time i see rm fighting about
Promising Young Woman, which i've not seen and likely never will, i think of this quite good novel. suzanne spent some time here and is cool, and dorothy is one of my favorite presses. anyway, i'm rereading it now.

Bought Bret Easton Ellis´s White and the Lanegan memories. Its from a web page abroad, so well see if they actually get to my house.
