Hard Target, starring JCVD. Fucking John Woo and his stupid birds and boring ass direction. I hate him.

I liked 28 Years Later, but what the hell was up with that ending? Bizarre
Spoiler: show
Afterwards I put the pieces together about who that guy was. But still, it seemed so tonally out of place. Was this a comedy?

I should have looked for/read the 28 Years Later thread before posting here. Things are making more sense now. But still!

Yeah. He seems like someone I should like but I don't. I also find him boring. That said, I haven't seen his Hong Kong stuff.

Doing a double feature tomorrow: The Materialists, which finally opened here, at 8pm. Then The Naked Gun at 10:30pm

You are talking about the Celine Song film Materialists. The film I am watching tomorrow is Federico Gonzales de Ponderosa's The Materialists, a Chilean film.

Didn’t expect the scene to turn like that.

Tonight I'm going to watch Material Lists. It's not a movie, but rather a comprehensive inventory of all the components, raw materials, and parts needed to manufacture a product or complete a construction project.

Just kidding. I'm going to watch The Town

Watched The Pope's Exorcist and am currently about half way through Nosferatu - Both are quite enjoyable

The Pope's Exorcist is a hell of a movie, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

It's very boring for long stretches, but I really enjoyed the climax

Lionheart, starring JCVD.

Second rate. Takes itself way too seriously. Corny (in a bad way) social commentary. Brian Thompson is in this, but does nothing.

I canceled this because I remembered I have a bunch of work stuff to catch up with.

Will keep you all posted
