I bet it’s been talked about here at some point, but we watched Troll 2 last night, and it was hilarious. Watching the documentary about it, Best Worst Movie, right now.

So many great lines, but my favorite by far is Grandpa Seth’s head in the mirror of the nilbog house when Joshua asks him where he’d been…“I still have to learn the layout of this house.”LoathedVermin72 wrote:One of the greatsdad wrote:I bet it’s been talked about here at some point, but we watched Troll 2 last night, and it was hilarious. "Jurassic World: Rebirth"
not nearly as bad as I was expecting; give Gareth Edwards more time and a better script, the next one could be really good
all in all I think it's the best Jurassic World movie, no Chris Twatt and no shoehorned romance went a long way

Saw Weapons yesterday.
It's fine -- good, even! -- but I don't think I get they hype. People are kinda freaking out about it and I think I must have missed something because it felt pretty run of the mill to me (not necessarily in a bad way). I had fun.

I'm sure you missed nothing. At this point I've learned to actively avoid any hyped new horror movie. They're almost always tiresome, one-dimensional junk.

well, i thought it was beautifully shot and edited. And the cast was superb too, it had moments of tension very well done and a great and funny af ending

Good Boy looks good on paper but I am not sure how well that concept is going to transfer to the big screen

Re: What movies are you watching?
The characters were realistic, well-rounded, superbly acted. The story was batshit crazy yet maintained a level of necessary grounding thanks to the characters. I was zeroed in from start to finish. Maybe it helps to be a parent or to have children you care for, I dunno. I loved each character and when something horrible happens to them I actually very much cared. It had everything; laugh out loud comedy, horror, mystery, suspense, drama, creativity, great camera work and sound design. I loved everything about it and can't wait to see it again.VinylGuy wrote:epilogue wrote:VinylGuy wrote:i was going to say Hi Joe!!!

Re: What movies are you watching?
I was intrigued by Eddington for about the first half, but it lost me sometime thereafter. May need to watch it again sometime.
