How can I misunderstand you when I don’t understand you at all

That’s not even remotely true. Besides, I’m talking more so about in the real world.

I have to hold back on the dark humor in real life. The corporate folx don't seem to like that

im frequently misunderstood, over the last few years ive pinpointed a few traits that cause it.

i speak with low enthusiasm about positive things which causes others to think im being sarcastic and mean the opposite.

i don't always include "imo" or "i think" so my opinions seem like facts that cant be disagreed upon..

to make the conversation more interesting, i come up with counter points from a hypothetical 3rd person rather than just agreeing with the person

Does anyone occasionally chew nicotine gum to stimulate and focus their mind on something? Supposedly works like caffeine, minus the anxiety/jitters.

this is a core purpose of nicotine abuse in general.

I have a friend who tells me I wouldn't like him if he didn't challenge me and debate me but the reality is that's the reason I don't like him. Personally, I find people who play devil's advocate too much tedious and I don't think it's productive.

The funny thing is he pretends he is interested in debating ideas but it's really all about his ego. All good ideas need to come from him.

RM question: what's the longest you ever had a crush on someone without making a move?
