Paraguay will host a game!
the whole anti-mbappe racist rant from that paraguayan politician kinda put a damper on the novelty of rooting for that team

pretty sure I am gonna try to go to Spain / Portugal / Morocco for the 2030 world cup
Casablanca will host a game. That would be pretty baller
USA ticket prices were so outrageous. Would rather stand in nosebleeds in Barcelona for that price with an Estrella Damm in my hand

That's awful and disgusting, but I'll isolate my outrage to that individual. I'm happy the citizens of Paraguay get to experience the WC hoopla.

Enjoy the smaller portions, limited fast food options, and lack of ranch, chaps.

Im alright!
Yes, i was bummed out and still very much impressed with what the team achieved in 5 years ( two world cup finals, two copa americas, one finalissima, one world cup). I guess its a shame they couldnt really get into these finals, probaby because the spent the whole tournament with phisical issues. Its not normal you have to change your two center backs or your left back. Those issues took a toll during this whole cup and probably influenced Scaloni to make a way more defensive approach.
Spain was better overall, but with one more player they felt also a little bland. It was ver close to penalties again. I have the feeling that Argentina could have scored if they tried a little more ( Simone and Senesi were super close)
Still, had a great time in this world cup. It was very fun to post here with you guys, this thread was awesome and (almost) drama free

Spain was the best team in the tournament, so it was fitting they won. A pretty intense extra time given how much of a one-sided match it was.

Spain started off the tourney looking pretty mid
although later I think we also learned Cape Verde was channeling something very special
when Spain clicked it on vs France it was like a whole different team than the one in the first two games
they played with great control and one-touch passing in the final
Argentina played noble-y in the home stretch when they were down and I was kinda thinking they would score - they showed vs Egypt and then with England that when they go for it they can get it. But was unfortunately a little too late and unlucky with their couple of close chances.
Congrats VG and also sorry for the loss but also congrats, they have been near tops for a while and super competitive.
in 2030 we’ll all toast at the USA v. Argentina game in Casablanca

As much as I'd like to become of a professional league, I just don't have the sports bandwidth right now. How does everyone keep up with so many leagues? And tracking the best players spread out over so many teams?
