Right, sorry, I don't think it's the right word for me

It got in my bones a bit. I went to a department store after the movie and, walking through the parking lot at dusk, everything seemed menacing

Was it because there was a giant assault rifle floating in the air above the parking lot?

No, but there was a lady with a backpack way at the far end of the parking lot who walked one way and then the other. And a guy standing outside a lady's car, but not talking to her. And the guy collecting carts was collecting carts in a way I'd never seen before. He was leaving lots of carts right in the roadway for too long. They were alone there. And why was that other lady just sitting in her car like that. I was spooked

Thinking back on it, that gun is the only moment in the movie I think I really don't like. It was fine in the moment because it fit in a weird dream sequence way, but looking back I wish there were a subtler way Cregger had done that

Same.

Honestly, the whole dream sequence bugged me. It's my least favorite part of the movie. And the longer I live with it and the more I think about it, the less it works.

It wouldn't be an "elevated horror" movie if it didn't scream its one theme at you so loudly no one could possibly miss it

I'm not gonna be resentful just cause my message board friends don't appreciate a motion picture as much as me. I'm not.
