Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

I cut the cord in 2001 in the wake of news coverage over 9/11, that ticker to the right of the screen regarding COVID-19 literally shocks me every time I see it in a screen-shot.McParadigm wrote:I think about this post every day now. I don't think verb is saying "fuck it" as much as "we're fucked" which I totally agree with. I'm doing what I can as well but if people aren't going to take it seriously then it's going to keep spreading.

Well, with how infectious this virus is,its a very dangerous line to play the "ah we're fucked so screw it anyway"Orpheus wrote:I don't think verb is saying "fuck it" as much as "we're fucked" which I totally agree with. Re: Anybody want a Corona?
i see this and think about the class divide - and that the powers that be want / need a re-opening to get the economy going - but those managers in charge with jobs where they can stay home will continue to - sending the rest of the workforce out to prop the economy up / risk death while the top X% percent can stay at home and be economically and physically preservedMcParadigm wrote:Reopening is going to be a fucking catastrophe.
