I feel like it's a Disney thing. Mostly because the other studios couldn't afford the hit to their schedules. Maybe not though. It's a weird time.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Thanks VG. Yeah, I'm really excited for this because it sounds like it will actually be FUN, not a hollow reboot like the late 90s/early 2000s stuff, nor the cold and detached blood porn that Zombie made. This sounds like it has a heart to it, which is exactly what I need in my horror flicks.

Maybe not the right word, but I need to care about the characters, and some light humor helps too. It's why I thought It was so effective, and why I can't stand stuff like Hostel.
