I've never listened to the whole thing.

I was all excited about finding a Pearl Jam CD in my car a few weeks ago thinking it was LO2L then I pooped it in and heard Arms Aloft. LOXL. Womp womp.

I wouldn't say a lot better, but it averages out to be a better listen for me too.

I like Backspacer a lot for what it is -- I think it's a great minor album with a lot of fun songs.

I seriously haven't listened to Lightning Bolt since 2013. It's the first and only PJ album to leave virtually no impression on me whatsoever.

Yes. Last year, after the “forthcoming album” nonsense I figured was them releasing a song and supposing they were going to finish the album and release it, this year I feel more optimistic. I am hopeful we’ll get the new album machine rolling from this band in the next month. I have no basis for this other than blind hope. Let’s see how I do!

No, that a comment on the nature of how these threads tend to go... everyone half jokingly assumes the band is dead. No one knows if any real progress has been made outside of whatever session Can’t Deny Me came from.
