Or, perhaps he didn't like the taste of shit, so he opted out of licking B'OB's asshole.
Cause they're *~:FUN:~*
I bet stone and matt sit in the corner bitching about Bo'B and ed likeing shitty music when they both know theirs is more interesting.
For instance, i think stones new stache goatee combo is an attempt to look like brenden. When he starts looking more like brenden and less like a muskateer, he will dye his hair blonde and the transformation will be complete. He will then absorb brenden via osmosis and become one with him .He will be able to thoroughly convince the rest of the band that he is infact brenden all the while producing the albums himself.
Now he won't ever be able to appear in the same room as 'brenden' but since ed doesn't give a shit whether he's in the room or not, it's only the other guys that are gonna be a problem. At which point stone will have to start the process again with ed in order to threaten the rest of the band with axes. Just you wait till stone starts walking around in batting helmets.
Eventually stone will be both the lead singer and producer for Pearl Jam, which is everything he ever wanted, and we will finally get our 'return to form' album. Or pearl jam goes funk, one of the two.

If this album were a book, it would be Jonathan Strange and Mr Norell by Suzanne Clarke.

They haven't confirmed what the extra digital content is, I presume it's something other than the singles as we already have those.
I wouldn't be surprised if they finally made the London and Wrigley boots available once the countdown ends.

It almost deserves that description. So near, yet so far.

In fairness to PJ management and ten club, they've played a blinder with the marketing for this record.
The digital content on this might well be something really special.

I guess the response to these things is that they were already swimming in money when they made the really cool shit, and they're not really any more successful now than they were then.Lament wrote:I posted this picture I found on Mike's intragram a few months ago in the 2003 Japan Tour thread, but it seems relevant to this discussion...verb_to_trust wrote:you're right. Jonathan Strange is a wonderful yet frustrating book
That's why I made the comparison.
And strangely enough, the artwork / colour scheme is the same.

Still, two slip-ups on the album isn't bad at all.

I don't think anyone is suggesting that they weren't. We're just suggesting that this is a more likely scene than Stone sitting in the corner being angry.harmless wrote:I guess the response to these things is that they were already swimming in money when they made the really cool shit, and they're not really any more successful now than they were then.Lament wrote:

It'll be all the stuff we've seen. Vignettes, full EPK, and the band performing the album live.(e.g. Sirens video)
Betterman (live)

Is this the album we've been waiting for?
The one that signifies the beginning of a new era where albums come out every couple of years again and b-sides are brought back into the fold as well as xmas singles that dont suck?

Doubtful. Not when there are still album tracks that suck.
