If only we all got the same facts at the same time all the time.
Hence why justice is a process, not an outcome.elliseamos wrote:If only we all got the same facts at the same time all the time.
Did you not watch the same video linked in this thread? It’s pretty clear.elliseamos wrote:Yikes. Bammer, it was a slight joke based on my original post about this incident having watched a poor quality video and not been aware of the knife and how LeBron may have been guilty of the same thing.

This isn’t news and it’s probably the most ridiculous, least thought out take in the whole thread.Bammer wrote:
In other news (haven’t read your link yet): Maybe the police should just stop responding to calls for like a week. See how everyone likes that.

To some extent we see this happening already in SFO and NYC, right? Baltimore appears to be signing up as well.*Bammer wrote:That is very clearly not what I wantE.H. Ruddock wrote:So, The Purge? You want to have a week long Purge? Hope you own guns broBammer wrote:

I wish people would focus on the fact that having too many laws, too many police, and too much discretion over which laws to selectively enforce is a major contributor to all of these issues. Sign me up for reduced enforcement, even if decriminalization and repeal are better options.Bi_3 wrote:To some extent we see this happening already in SFO and NYC, right? *not the establishment of Bammer Autonomous Zones, but reduced enforcement scoping for police
This is a lot different than what Bammer said, which seems to be a week off so everyone appreciates them again. I know he probably doesn’t believe this, but I’ve heard plenty of people in real life say stuff like this, and they think this is a good argument.4/5 wrote:I wish people would focus on the fact that having too many laws, too many police, and too much discretion over which laws to selectively enforce is a major contributor to all of these issues. Yeah that’s really bad and the cop should be fired/punished immediately.Bi_3 wrote:This one is pretty awful:
