Venezuela has never qualified for a World Cup. Same for Guatemala, Mali, Finland and many other nations, especially in Asia. The four memtioned might be the best footballing nations never to qualify.

Even the tiniest of LatAm countries would beat New Zealand's ass at futbol, I'm sure. Just an ultra competitive region.
Same as Europe.

While a large region, it would make sende for the Final World Cup Qualifying groups to be America-wide (north and south America).

Am I understanding this correctly? The next World Cup will be hosted by Spain, Portugal and Morocco, but because 2030 will be the 100th anniversary of the first World Cup, some matches will be held in Uruguay and Argentina?
Why not just have the South American countries host the entire tournament in 2030?

Yeah the games of their groups will be held in Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay. Other groups and rest of the cup will be held in Spain, Portugal and Morocco.
Its should have been all in Uruguay and Argentina, maybe Uruguay have the first game only because their infrastructure in terms of were they play is not good, but i guess this is al business nowwww!!!!
Imagine all the artists from all those countries in the half time show???
no wait, lets have Shakira play in the states again for some reason, yeah

saw and article that said USA may be a good contender for 2038 world cup because money
in the interim, because the other world cups are spread across so many hosting countries and continents, the US can bid again
and FIFA loves the US surge pricing dynamic for ticketmaster and more importantly knows there is billions to be had by bidding out the TV rights. this world cup went to Fox via no bid. in the future they want other networks to compete like how the NFL gets big paydays when they come due to sell their broadcast rights.
Infantino could get it passed before his and trump’s terms end
