I think it deserves attention. I know its ridiculous and there are more important concerns in the world but this tweet says everything that needs to be said about Donald Trump. Our commander in chief, the ex leader of the free world. It is absolutely embarrassing, it shows how careless he is, and shows how pathetic he is. Up late at night tweeting, typo, and it also appears it was mid thought with another tweet to follow. Did he fall asleep after the tweet in his chair and dirty undies?

Fuck, what a national fucking embarrassment.

And then the aftermath, one just can't admit how dumb it looks? Going so far as to actually suggest it meant something that only a select few knew? Some sort of inside joke? This is how the administration handles this shit and its fucking embarrassing.

I get it, I don't think you're crazy. But it's just not front page news in my mind. Give us more news on climate data; Russia; various rollbacks of Obama's policies. I'm not saying that covfefe isn't newsworthy, just that it doesn't warrant anything greater than a blurb, a message board post, a Twitter meme. But not front page. That just illustrates the major press outlets desire to keep up with the Buzzfeeds of the world, by compromising their integrity.

The worst takes on the whole thing were the people arguing that you shouldn't laugh at "covfefe" because nothing Trump does is funny (saw a few of these on FB and Twitter).
