went to the theater to see Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair. Some of it felt a little dated, but most of it held up. I definitely enjoyed the novel experience of seeing a 4 1/2 hour movie with an intermission. It really brought back memories of my childhood theater (I live right behind it, now!) and seeing My Girl and Batman Returns with intermission halfway through the movie.

It’s been awhile since seeing the originals, but I think they only added to O-REN’s origin anime sequence. The fight against the crazy 88 was also in full color

They put an intermission in on the middle of Batman Returns? That had to be really weird.

I've seen a few theatrical releases with intermissions. Gone With the Wind and a 70mm print of Branagh's Hamlet, most notably. They've always been appreciated.
