I thought Hamnet had a great ending and then I thought about it for a while and now I'm not so sure. Overall, I was bored! Couldn't quite bring myself to give a shit

I am sure I'll watch Hamnet at some point but Chloe Zhao's movies tend to be real bad soooo I am skeptical

Yes, i only saw Nomadland and The Eternals and they were quite tedius and obvious. She seems to be more of a industry darling to me than anything else.

This is the first film of hers that I've seen. I was very impressed.
But it sounds like you guys will not like it. But I'd love your thoughts if either of you ever do get around to it.

I guess ill watch it eventually, but doesnt seem like something im dying to see. Kinda feels like oscar bait too.

I actually haven't seen it. I was just making a joke that implied I thought you misspelled Hamlet, even though I do actually know there is a new movie out called Hamner.

My favorite part was when the evil sheriff was rounding up all the pigs, and Billy Shakes runs out and yells, "Hamlet my piggies go!" Then he looks directly at the camera and smiles knowingly.
