Seriously
i started this movie a couple weeks ago for some random reason and turned it off before 5minutes. Like, "hmm, I've heard about this movie a lot, yet I don't think I've ever seen it, let's give it a try"...
some quirky joke
"nope"

Most of them aren't even jokes.

Big fan of the new Avatar
It is absolutely gorgeous
Surprisingly dark! The previous movie was a gentle thing about fatherhood and now this one goes to some disturbing places.
There are a lot of very beautiful psychedelic moments
Some really annoying and unnecessary scenes too (we didn't need the whole council of whales thing) but whatever
It's bloated as hell but I don't actually mind that much
Action scenes were incredible, I loved everything in the swamp (and the 4D was so well done I actually flinched because I thought I was gonna be smacked in the face by one of the vines)
Stephen Lang is so fucking good in this, he runs away with the film
Also I am not one of those people who think the Na'avi are hot but that new lady antagonist was making me feel some things man!

I challenge anyone to watch the new Avatar and witness the scary fire kangaroo woman and not come away thinking maybe you can change her

I'm planning on seeing it this weekend, so I will also report back on the fuckability of these creatures.

If you're not going to watch it in 3D in the theatre, then there's no sense watching it at all.

Only the one creature! I don't feel that way about the rest of the Na'vi. I respect them platonically

That's sweet, but give it time. Your attraction to the new lady may have awakened something in you.

I need to know if Julia Ducournau's "Alpha" is worth watching before I spend money on it... anyone?
