This movie has come up like 6 times in the last two weeks. I feel like I need to see it.

Glad it's got the FJ seal of (basic) approval.

Saw a screening in 70mm with a talk back after. The film is gorgeous. It's haunting and perplexing and bewitching and thunderous.

Amanda Seyfried is doing remarkable and special work.

Also, had no idea the movie was a musical.

Unexpectedly great pairing of a double feature tonight: Breaking the Waves -> Paterson

I think it is essential that they be watched in this order, though. The other way seems dangerous

It was good, i liked it. Great cast. A little long maybe.

Aside from him the score, screenplay, pacing and such are excellent.

"Seeking a Friend for the End of the World"... This one was on my radar for a bit and finally got to watch it.
It's a keeper for me.

I have no idea and it should be a crime

I'm sure it was a money issue. Because clearly that song inspired the title.

The Mastermind.

It was fine. Taught and tense in really interesting ways. Great lighting and score. But ultimately I didn't care. There were no real stakes. I certainly didn't hate the movie and I'm glad I saw it. Not there's no way it's a top ten film of the year.
