I like this better in context of the album but less after hearing the rest of the songs. IMO this just isn’t what they do best anymore.

I hope we get a B-side after a little while. And I hope it's as heavy as this song.

Good song, but not an album highlight.

I'd probably raise my rating to a 3.5 now that we have the context of how it fits with the rest of the album, but it's still one of the weakest tracks on DM.

Sounds like it was flown in from a different session on the atmos mix.

Breaks the continuity for me.
We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…

it does have different vibes from almost the rest of the album. I wonder if it works better coming off of React/Respond, but Wreckage - Won't Tell - Upper Hand is probably too much mid temp in a row, especially since WFS is also fairly mid tempo

Love Wreckage coming after React/Respond. Perfect set cool down.

I'm ok with Dark Matter's placement if I'm viewing this as a setlist...It just sounds sonically apart...Literally sounds like a completely separate album.

To be fair, it's more pronounced on the atmos mix than the stereo.

I'll be curious to see how it sounds on the actual blu-ray.

Can someone please share with me a link to Jorge’s Homerian version? My kids asked for it and I can’t find it anymore.

I still keep wanting to sing "my jaw left hurting / dropped wide open" in place of "no patience left for / impatience no more"

The and's of the 7th and 8th differentiate this riff from other similar rhythms. Matt's polyrhythmic fills drive this one.

More I listen, the more I have to know if this song was from earlier or later sessions because imo it’s much worse in most ways to most of the album. Even the weird sound of eddies vocals. He sounds amazing on this album but not so much here.

Didn't know Pearl Jam had any Canada in them. Did they record in Vancouver?
