Hard to tell. The upper looks weird. Like it can't decide if it wants to be ultra breathable or locked down. I still have some 7s to burn through before I'd give them a try. Hopefully they have some cool colorways by fall.

Yeah, I've got a handful of runs and walks logged over the last month. No regular routine. Just escaping the house, wife, and five month old infrequently and with with moderate guilt.

Tried (and failed) to run a sub-20 minute 5k today, but still managed to shave a few seconds off my PR.

No shame in that. Once you get down to 20 shaving even seconds off your time is work.

Oof. I went for a run on the bayou trails near my old neighborhood and got kind of lost and ended up on a parkway. A stranger in my own town.

I think I'm about done with Hokas after my current pairs wear out. The Cliftons start to feel dead after 100 miles on the road, and the Challengers are too tall for technical trail running. Thinking of maybe going back to Brooks on the road and trying Altra on the trails.

4.x mile loops on a wooded trail (12 loops = 50 miles, 24 = 100, etc.). You have 1 hour to run the loop and be back at the start line at the top of the hour for the next loop. Continues like that until only one runner is left.

I was talking to my PT today. She thinks I might be able to convince them to let me run after my next doctors appointment on Tuesday.
