You could be on to some meta-textual thing here but I don't think these are connected in any way, and although VG touts The Hunt as great it's more like good imo. I am going to watch After The Hunt asap tho.

Once you're seen it, I would love to hear your thoughts on why it's called After The Hunt unless it's a direct commentary on The Hunt.

Haynes is a one-hit wonder for me. Velvet Goldmine is one of my favorite movies ever but I haven’t liked anything else I’ve seen by him.
