our Valentines movie (finally) was "Safe" (1995), which I'm now aware is early Todd Haynes ("Carol") and I loved it so so much, now I'm making it my mission to see everything else he's made

I watched Poison and Velvet Goldmine for the first time in the last year or so. Poison is pretty intense in a couple scenes.
Velvet Goldmine I adored
Safe I also loved, but don't remember too too much and would like to re-watch

Hamlet (1990). Good cast. I don't think I was familiar with Alan Bates. I didn't understand any of it.

Corner Gas: The Movie.
Great seeing the whole gang back together again after all these years. I didn't think Lacey could get any hotter, but now she's got some junk in the trunk. 11 stars.

Good Luck Have Fun Don't Die was fine. Sam Rockwell seemed like he was trying to elevate it through (I’m assuming) ad libs, but it was basically a dark comedy with a Black Mirror plot. The most interesting parts were exploring what brought each of the cast to their current situation

State Of Grace.
What a classic. Amazing cast, elevates the movie. Penn and Harris are superb. Oldman is timeless here. Robin Wright is fierce. Joanou´s direction is from another league.
