Meh. Trying too hard with the food (pulled pork tots, things like that). Touristy. They have a lot of fucking beers, which is awesome, but nothing super unique. There are plenty of places I'd rather go to. Beer Culture is WAY superior.

beer culture is good..the owner is an over the top PJ geek..they can pull in some good whiskey there

I hate to endorse a mass beer, but I picked up a Sam Adams variety pack at Costco, and I'm digging their Chocolate Bock.

Mango Slush IPA from Four Silos. Another "contract" brew for them.

It's a little hard to support them when I have 4 breweries near me with owners/brewers who are knee-deep in the actual brewing process every day, but it was pretty damn good so...

So they're contracting out to serve at their own brewery? Do they brew on premise at all?

Was great. Well balanced and smooth. Next up are the two Bell's cherry stouts out right now.

yes. no.

They are technically their recipes, but from what I understand they are basically tweaks of beers the contract brewery (SunUp) already brews.

That's fine I guess, but like I said I have 4 other breweries around me that do really adventurous recipes and have owners who actually do the brewing.

That is an odd setup. I am totally fine with contract brewing as an economy of scale, especially to new breweries that are growing but if the owners don't do any brewing themselves I'd say that is a bit misleading to the consumer.

Went to this local beer place to grab a few bottles/cans for Thanksgiving. I wanted a mix of stuff I'd never tried before. Found some interesting things... BUT.... BUT they had a ton o Heady Topper!

Limit 2 per person but they had a bunch. I didn't get any though. Because I've already had that "must have beer before you die." Thanks again, Pete.

The biggest craft brewery in town just expanded their beer garden, and it's very well done. Finally I feel like we have a brewery experience on par with Odell or Boulevard, two fantastic breweries that I've visited and been envious of.
