I messaged him on Strava when I saw David Bazan at a living room show a few months ago. I told him I posted about it here and nobody gave a shit.

Just bought some Rx'd running shades as my gift for returning to the road soon. A bit pricey but it's going to be crazy to see clearly again out there after discontinuing contact lenses a few years ago.

Just did a 5k on the tread at 8:05 pace. Held my left arm motionless and internally rotated. No pain. Lungs are traaasshhheed.

Bought some Altra Lone Peaks on Saturday. A little nervous to try them (they're zero drop). Sounds like it takes a few weeks for your lower legs to adjust.

Running/fitness people: what's your average resting heart rate? Mine's ~40. Had a nurse tell me the other day it was the lowest she'd seen, which seemed unlikely. Then again I do live in Wisconsin.

Mine is upper 40s or lower 50s. I've had medical professionals say the same thing to me but it's most likey because 90% of the people they see are fats.
