That headline is kind of misleading. She doesn't say he's going to order Comey not to testify.

Yeah all Conway said is that the decision is up to the president. But she also says things will "become clearer" when he does testify, so the article is kind of dumb.

I kinda hope there is something of value in his testimony. If it's all 'that's classified', it will make the whole situation worse.

I'd imagine he'll be able (and willing) to talk about Trump wanting him to shut down the investigation, but he won't say anything about the investigation itself. Considering he's already publicly accused of doing that, I doubt there's going to be anything particularly revelatory besides getting details about Trump's request.

Trump already admitted to obstruction of justice when he fired him. Too bad the only person capable of charging him is Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III.

But again, who has the power to bring those charges? The DoJ is all I can think of, and because he's president Trump has appointed allies to it.

As unlikely as it is that Trump would be impeached and thrown out of office, I think it's even more unlikely that Trump will face any criminal charge, rightly or wrongly.
