So far the Sinners haters are 2x Argentinian (extremely racist people) and Louisiana trash (Lenny).
It's a great movie. Don't listen to these deplorable individuals.

I'm not from Louisiana, you ass. I like many black and African and end racism movies.Ello Sailor wrote:So far the Sinners haters are 2x Argentinian (extremely racist people) and Louisiana trash (Lenny).

Very glad I didn't see it in the theater. Decent chance I would have left by the end of the first hour.VinylGuy wrote:Yeah Sinners suuuuuuckslennytheweedwhacker wrote:Man, Sinners was such a slog. I don't understand the acclaim at all. The first half especially was so tedious and nothing felt organic about it at all. The dialogue unnatural, performances mediocre...And i'm far from an expert, but the way it was shot and color use felt cheap for lack of a better term. The overall theme was fine, but I couldn't have been less engaged by the time it's starting to be revealed. Like 90% of it looked like a Nic Cage B-movie to me.
Spina Tap II was solid. Didn't expect it to be anywhere near the original, but it was fun enough. Biggest thing were the new songs weren't that good.

Sinners was great. Guess I’m just more in tune with that kinda thing because of the African DNA in my Italian blood

Has there ever been a movie set in Mississippi that didn't have an appearance by the klan?

I needed to piss and i went and thought if i should come back and decided to come back just to see that nothing really happened and the same characters were just talking and talking….lennytheweedwhacker wrote:Very glad I didn't see it in the theater. Re: What movies are you watching?
To be fair, you could take a break in a lot of movies only to come back and find the same characters still talking. Unless it's a silent movie.VinylGuy wrote:I needed to piss and i went and thought if i should come back and decided to come back just to see that nothing really happened and the same characters were just talking and talking….lennytheweedwhacker wrote:Very glad I didn't see it in the theater. I can't remember exactly, but I think they were dancing because it takes place in a "juke joint" (a type of informal dance club).VinylGuy wrote:They were also dancing for some reason. But im not that sure because it looked like shit so who knows what was happening
