They're down Matthews and Campbell, who should both be back for the playoffs, and they beat the shit out of Tampa two weeks ago, but clearly they've got some weaknesses.
Panthers, on the other hand... You're still relying on the bob in net, who can collapse at any moment, but fuck they're good.

Panthers in 5
Lightning in 7
Hurricanes in 6
Rangers in 6
Avalanche in 5
Wild in 5
Flames in 4
Kings in 6
More confident in my picks for the east than the west, Kings Oilers could probably go either way.

Wish i were as confident about the Wild as you guys.
We're absolute fire right now with Home Ice advantage but the Blues have our number.

gotta love ranger fans saying the refs are for the pens cause of a disallowed goal but agreeing with the refs this shouldnt have been a 5 minute major

Sports fans are the worst. I have a friend from st louis who ill text with during the wild/blues games. Not sure i can do it anymore. Wild player hits a blues player and he'll call the wild cheap asses, pussies, and cheaters. Same exact play happens against the wild he will be dead serious and talk himself out of why it was a cheap ass move and the wild are obviously just a bunch of pussies.
Its absolutely maddening and i cant do it anymore.
I ignore most of the texts. I called him out on it the other night.

If a team playing the Tampa Bay Lightning were to be ceremonially executed during the first period intermission, I'd be okay with it as long as it meant Tampa was the de-facto winner. Sports are meaningless, there's no reason to pretend to be impartially invested in them.

Additionally, when the refs make a bad call against my team's opponents, hey, thems the breaks, but if they make a bad call against the Lightning, it is evidence of a massive conspiracy and calls into question the very validity of each point scored against them.
It's called the Burt Reynolds theory of spectatorship.
