What are you currently watching on TV?

Righteous Gemstones will be fun I think.

I need to dive into these two eps as soon as i can.

Based on the hourlong pilot, I’d say it leaning just slightly more ito the drama than the comedy, compared to his last two series

interesting.

Handmade's Tale, which is a tough binge. Can really only handle a 2-3 episodes a week.

Oof. Yeah. Tough binge. I think the most I did was four in two days once. And it was not easy.

My wife can really only watch about 30 minutes of a day. We both like it, but I want to respect her pace.

It's just difficult to get into TV during the summer. The days are long, the weather is nice, and the couch just isn't as appealing.

Was watching Electric Dreams on Amazon. Wanted to like it but it's a really low rent Black Mirror. Maybe as a half hour show it would be ok, but these thin stories cannot be stretched out to an hour.

Yeah, the only one that I really liked was the very first episode

They all felt like "good setup, no payoff". Each episode consistently took the dumbest, most disappointing direction possible.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I'm so excited to dive back in. Read the book then watched the first 4 eps as they aired. Then life got in the way. Now we're going back to finish it.
