Lions - If it Feels Good - You dont know.

Tracks 6-8 are far too poppy and dont really fit him in my opinion. They are songs we now have heard 8,000,000 before.

However, the rest is Gold and really fleshes out that which is Leon Bridges

this is exactly how i feel about it too. i get pretty uninterested in that run of songs, but they are fine enough for background music while cooking or something

Yup. They come across as a "trying too hard" attempt at being more radio friendly/poppy. The other tracks feel like an extension and a true re calibration of Leon Bridges without feeling forced.

He was in Arg this week i got to know him after a video shoot he did. Cool guy, but whatever he does is not my thang. I feel i heard it all before and in better versions.

Seriously.

This has been a killer year for girl rock music, yeah. Almost all of my favorites this year could classify as such.

Whole album isn't out yet. But she's been making the rounds on different radio shows and played at least five different songs. All sound good and I like the one she does with Lanegan
