The show ran a little shorter than expected, that’s my only complaint. I thought the main set was pretty rocking post Low Light and the encore had some stuff I really enjoyed. I’d love to not hear Just Breathe, but Tremor Christ, Present Tense and Outta My Mind were all great.

Mike sounded a little sloppy on Present Tense when I was listening on Periscope last night.

Also I’ve always wanted Its Ok, wasn’t the best version of it but still made me happy.

My issue was song choice. ATW sucked the air out of the already weary crowd. Into Daughter with a weak It’s OK and then into the awful Got Some, they just bored everyone. Where I was the crowd was mostly touring people so we had heard the IWBD dedication a few times already and it didn’t resonate like in Seattle. Enough has been said about Just Breathe already. After that the rest of the encore was good.

Matt playing Out of My Mind. Ugh

How can such a great drummer completely lack anything resembling groove

I watched it too. I dont really blame MC. its not like the band was playing it any different thana straight ahead rock song. I doubt they went back and tried to recreate the same vibe when rehearsing it.

I dont get why Ed tries to sing Blood that late in the set. You wont make it buddy.

The It's OK tag is one of my least favourite things they do, I can't believe they play it so often these days. The first time was fine, it had a specific meaning tied to the circumstances at the time. Rolling it out semi-regularly feels like the worst, most mawkish fan service imaginable.

It was incredible in 2000. It's been dumb ever since.

The first 10-15 seconds he definitely hit a couple of sour notes, but he seemed better after that

That's been their second encore for the whole year.
That isn't true at all.

While I don't understand why Lowlight has to be played at almost every other show these days, I thought the flow of the setlist was great from Sometimes to GTF. Army Reserve, Even Flow, and Amongst the waves sucked the life out of the place. I don't they it every fully came back.

Just Breathe is the worst. Present tense- Black was a great run. I was shocked how good Tremor Christ was done. I had been hoping to hear that.

Eddie's attempt to sing Blood was noble, but he couldn't hang. I watched it again on Youtube today and it was a trainwreck.

Outta my mind was fun and I'm glad they scratched the other songs and played it. Wish the show was longer and less "Party with Pearl Jam" but it's 2018. I think we just have to be happy they are still touring.

the whole 2nd half of the concert had this air about it as though they knew they were running out of time

shame they didn't come on sooner

think of how many people went so out of their way to make this concert their Labor Day, a multi-day thing .... and spend all this money on travel and hotels and tickets ....

after RITFW did people seem to look like they were standing around because they wanted more? ... it looked that way on the pscope ... but not in that 'man, this show is rocking so hard and i don't want it to end' kind of way, but more in the 'that was it?' kind of way ...

Ed made some reference to the curfew and was like 'I don't want to check my watch' and then it kind of became clear like 'we're not paying the fine tonight' ...

ok 'goodnight springton!'

There was definitely a bit of a "shit, that's really it?" vibe...at the same time, I think I'm finally coming around to how Chud and Numbers feel about this fanbase...when it got to be about 7:40, the girls behind me (aka the "100th show" people Ed mentioned) were muttering shit like "fucking A, we're down to like 2 hours 45 minutes now, what a bunch of shit"...I was frustrated too, but good grief, the entitlement this fanbase has now is truly something to behold (not in a good way)...and I wish that was the worst part of being in front of that group all night, but it wasn't
