i had some input, but naturally didn't fight too hard. decor exhausts me pretty quickly, even if i have a strong opinion.doug rr wrote:probably...i really had no say in the kitchen reno i just nodded yes to everything..i do love it thoughspike wrote:Sounds like our wives would hit it offdoug rr wrote:good looking piece of meat....spike and doug have the same countertops..our chairs are almost the same, we have the blu dot bar stools

My BIL has that one. Unless Hawkeye’s is the XXL.wease wrote:Hawkeye had the biggest Green Egg I’ve ever seen in his back porch area. In the season finale.
Hawkeye’s was easily twice the size of any normal egg I’ve seen. Maybe even thrice!spike wrote:My BIL has that one. Unless Hawkeye’s is the XXL.wease wrote:Hawkeye had the biggest Green Egg I’ve ever seen in his back porch area. In the season finale.
all 4 at once? spare or baby back? temp? what were you drinking?spike wrote:i smoked four racks of ribs in the egg for xmas, and they weren't as tender/awesome as the last single rack i did. could be attributable to many things, but could amount of meat vs cook time be one?

Yeah it’s just a rack to stand the ribs up to create more space. I went with 3-2-1, and went with ribs cuz they’re so foolproof with that method. To be clear, they were really good and well received, I’m just nitpicking since my last go was phenomenal.doug rr wrote:do you like it? i bought one a few years ago and still haven't used it...i just stick with the 3-2-1 with spare ribs..i just fear f..cking something up when i'm feeding other peoplespike wrote:https://www.acehardware.com/departments ... lsrc=aw.dsdoug rr wrote:what rib rack you using?spike wrote:yesdoug rr wrote:all 4 at once? spare or baby back? temp? what were you drinking?spike wrote:i smoked four racks of ribs in the egg for xmas, and they weren't as tender/awesome as the last single rack i did. could be attributable to many things, but could amount of meat vs cook time be one?
