I know I'm probably the only Pac 12 guy here, but here's my prediction.

North
1) Oregon 10-2
2) Washington 8-4
3) Stanford 8-4
4) Cal 6-6
5) Oregon St 5-7
6) WAZZU 3-9

South
1) USC 11-1
2) ASU 9-3
3) UCLA 9-3
4) Arizona 8-4
5) Colorado 6-6
6) Utah 4-8

Title game: USC over Oregon
At least 8 bowl teams.
USC makes playoffs, but loses in first round.
Dark Horse: ASU.

Oregon has USC at home late in the year. I wanna say second to last weekend. It would be odd to see them play two weeks later. It's highly likely but it's just weird they are playing each other so late in the year.

That was a total shot in the dark, really. I mean Utah could go 8-4 instead of 4-8, but their schedule is insane. If that freshman QB at UCLA is as good as everyone says they could easily challenge USC. The South is stacked.

And Oregon really hasn't lost much. Backfield and receivers are stacked and their defense could actually be better this year. I just think they will lose a game this year that Mariota would have won for them last year. And Stanford will be back to being Stanford this year. That defense is insane and their O should be much improved.

I'm excited to see what Scott Frost can do with the Oregon offense without Mariota. But thinking about that too much makes me sad my Skers didn't just take a shot and hire Frost.

I will also say that I'm not totally sold on USC, but if you look at their roster from top to bottom, they have more talent than anybody else in the country and Kessler is gonna be stellar this year. Also they have a pretty favorable schedule. Really their toughest games will be @ASU, @Notre Dame and @Oregon. I think they'll end up beating ASU handily, win at ND and lose @ Oregon. Stanford, Wash, Arizona and UCLA are all at home.

Colorado at 6-6 seems too high. Also wouldn't be surprised to see Wazzu above OSU.

Yeah, CU was my "reach" predicition. I think they'll start 3-1, then beat Wazzu and OSU on the road. They could upset Arizona at home.

I know Wazzu is a sexy dark horse pick, but I hate Mike Leach. And I'll be expecting at least a dozen players to be arrested in Pullman this season.

I checked CU's schedule and they're actually doing the 13th game at Hawaii. That means they got to win 7 to get in a bowl, and I just don't see 7 wins in there.

I don't think that's true, actually. I believe all of Hawaii's home opponents are bowl eligible at 6-7. The NCAA made a big deal about that a couple of years ago.

Regardless, yeah I forgot they were playing 13 games. So, 6-7.

I think that we might both be half correct, in which 6-7 teams can only go bowling if there aren't enough 6-6 teams. Either way, I still say less than 6 wins for CU.

Somehow I've come to know several CSU fans here in Boise. They would endorse this post.

Ah yeah!

Looking forward to the Baylor vs. SMU game. Chad Morris, former Clemson O Coordinator, is the new SMU coach.

Really good under the radar hire by SMU that nobody is talking about. If they can recruit at all down there he should do well. I'm sure Morris will get a shot at a bigger program soon if he does well at SMU.

I'm not overly sold on Sumlin at A&M. Decent coach but I think they could do better. If they go in another direction I could see Morris getting a shot there. Again, if he does well at SMU.

Sooner fan, huh? Right on.

PPV is one of the main reasons I do not miss the Texas conference.

Curious to see how Udub does without Sark. And I think USC is still payin for RB.....the sanctions have been killing them. They have 0 depth.
