I think we have turned dime into a decidedly pro-rebels force that we are all going to regret eventually.

I was never anti Rebels. Just relatively late to the party is all.

I'll be honest, I thought the trailer was too long and overstuffed with vocal remixes. It was soooooo explody! And as someone who has yet to encounter the Dark Saber, kind of nonsensical. That thing looks pretty stupid.

Really, the only thing that got me excited was seeing Obi-Wan. Well, that and seeing Kanan step up. That trailer made me much more excited to see where they're taking him. He looks so different (both in look and in ability) than the guy I know so far in the show. That's pretty exciting.

I can understand your position. Without reading those first three Zhan books, you kinda lose the excitement for him.

Even tho they're not canon, you really ought to give them a try. Zhan captures the personalities of the characters better than just about any of them. And it's a ripping good yarn, as well.

One thing that does kinda bum me out about this show is HOW intense it feels like it needs to be all the damn time. Imperial forces are always on their way. I wish this could find some calm. But that's a minor issue. Great episode.

Also, it's hilarious to me how this show is so careful to dance and tip-toe around the romantic relationship between Hera and Kanan but they have no problem being horrifically viciously violent when it comes to killing foreign species.

As a parent, I respect this. I can explain to my kids (and they'll understand) why violence is bad and this is just pretend. Relationships/Sex is not something that should be framed as bad or wrong... but theres also no need to talk to a 6 year old about it.
